What is the Jeda Wireless Pad?
It’s the first Model 3 Wireless Charger for smartphones. We have released the first Model 3 Wireless Charger, and will be releasing wireless charging solutions for the Tesla Model S and X in 2019.
How many phones can be charged using the Jeda Wireless Pad?
You can charge up to two phones or devices on our Model 3 Wireless Phone Charger.
Can I maintain a wired connection with the Jeda Wireless Pad?
Yes! You can choose to use both sides wirelessly, or just one if you prefer. We’ve designed our Tesla Model 3 Wireless Phone Charger with integrated wired charging ports, so that it can be used easily with non-Qi phones. Please note, that in order to use a wired connection you must use a spacer. Spacers will be available on our web store in April 2019. A third party spacer can be used as well, or 3d printed.
Can I use the Model 3 Wireless Charger if I have a phone case?
Yes, the Tesla Model 3 Wireless Charger can be used even if you have a phone case. Please note that metal cases or cases with metal kickstands should be avoided. If you’re unsure if your case will work with the Model 3 Wireless Charger, reach out to us and we’ll let you know!
How fast does the Jeda Wireless Pad charge?
The Model 3 Wireless Charger supports charging speeds from 7.5W-15W and is fast charging capable! Following the V9 update that Tesla released, both USB’s currently charge at 7.5W – which is what the Jeda Pad will charge at. The Tesla Model 3 Wireless Charger will adapt and take on the current of any power source it is connected to.
Can I use the Jeda Wireless Pad and also use the dashcam feature?
Absolutely! The best way to do so is by using a USB splitter which enables you to use some ports for the Tesla Model 3 Wireless Phone Charger, and the others for the dashcam.
Are both front USB ports required to use the Jeda Wireless Pad?
No. You can use one, or you can use both.
Will my phone charge when my Model 3 is off?
No, our Model 3 Wireless Phone Charger will shut off when your vehicle is off.
Does the iPhone XS Max/ Samsung Note work with the Jeda Wireless Pad?
Yes all phone models will fit using the Model 3 Wireless Phone Charger.
Which phones are compatible with the Tesla Model 3 Wireless Charger?
Any Qi enabled phone will work with the Tesla Model 3 Wireless Phone Charger. Currently, the following phones are Qi enabled or integrated:
Apple iPhone: 8, 8 Plus, X, XR, XS, XS Max
Samsung Galaxy: S9, S9+, Note 8, S8, S8+, S7, S7 Edge, Note 5, S6, S6 Edge.
LG: V30, G6 (US version), G4 (optional add on), G3 (optional add on)
Microsoft Lumia: 1520, 1020, 930, 929, 928, 920.
Google Nexus: 4, 5, 6, 7, Google Pixel

Is the Tesla Model 3 Wireless Charger safe?
Yes, the Model 3 Wireless Charger is safe to use. It’s been designed to ensure a safe driving experience, and a quality charging experience.
What about certifications?
The Jeda Wireless Pad is both FCC and CE compliant. The Jeda Wireless Pad is also ROHS compliant, meaning that its production is lead free and respectful to the environment.
What is the grip like on the Model 3 Wireless Charger?
The Tesla Model 3 Wireless Charger is made of premium TPE, which has a grippy surface and backing. Thanks to the design, the ridges and the texture work together to absorb shock, all while maintaining your phones positioning.

Does the Model 3 Wireless Phone Charger support fast charging?
Yes, theTesla Model 3 Wireless Phone Charger is fast charging capable. It works with the quick charge 3.0 capabilities of the Q.C MCU (Samsung phones). For those who prefer faster charging, we recommend connecting your Jeda Wireless Pad to the 12v power socket located under the armrest. iPhones and Google Pixels are not fast-charging capable.
Can I connect the Jeda Wireless Pad to the rear/center 12v socket for fast charging?
Yes! A great option is connecting the Model 3 Wireless Charger to the rear/center socket using an adapter. This will deliver fast charging speeds. This is mainly recommend for Android users, as iPhones are limited to 7.5W.
What is the current input of the Jeda Wireless Pad for the model 3 ?
The current input of the the Model 3 Wireless Charger ranges from 7.5W to 15W ( fast charge .) This is the same current output that the Jeda Wireless Pad will be able to charge your phone at.
Who’s behind the project?
We are a small group of designers, engineers and Tesla enthusiasts with experience building technology and hardware. We are also Tesla fans and this is our contribution to the EV change. We hope to make the Tesla experience even more enjoyable. All products made by Jeda are designed in Los Angeles, California.
